EUROPEAN UNION. Erasmus+ Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education – Exchanges of practices
The project starts from the need to open a reflection on the role of vocational training and work in the prison system and on experiences of local roots as a resource for greater effectiveness of the training system aimed at social categories at risk such as that of prisoners. Cooking for Freedom is an innovative training experience that puts penitentiary institutes, training institutes, associations and business realities in the network (in all partner countries) with the aim of creating a network of inclusiveness both for the prisoners and for the youngsters professional schools. By coordinating similar training courses in the various countries and drawing up guidelines to guide future training experiences, the intent was to propose a circular model of training, work and integration, and to promote the employability of the participants by ensuring a continuous exchange with the main actors of the reference territory.
